Mireille Messier is a Montreal-born, Ottawa-raised and now Toronto-based bilingual writer with a background in theatre and broadcasting. She writes fiction and non-fiction for kids and is published in both French and English. She has worked in children's television as a scriptwriter for TVO Kids, Kids CBC, Télétoon and Mini TFO. Mireille is also an accomplished voice-over artist who specializes in projects for kids, tweens and teens.

Mireille does classroom and library visits in English and in French for students K to 5. She also offers virtual visits on Zoom/Teams/Meet/Crowdcast.

School visits include a reading of one or two books, a fun activity or discussion in link with the theme of the presented books and a Q&A.
