Selected entries advance to the longlist, and longlist readers select the shortlist. From the shortlist, juries select winners and finalists. Entries are evaluated anonymously, so readers and juries don’t know the names of the writers. In November, everyone will receive the written evaluations for their entries. The next Writing for Children Competition will open in March 2025.
