For almost 40 years, CANSCAIP has hosted Packaging Your Imagination (PYI), a highly regarded professional development conference. Canada's community of writers, illustrators, performers and publishers for young people gather for an inspiring day of learning, business and networking.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

  • PYI 2021 LIVE-STREAMED on Saturday, October 23 
    Attend PYI live from your computer. After PYI, you'll get the recordings of your sessions.
  • PYI 2021 RECORDED available by November 8
    Watch the recordings of PYI sessions on your own time.

PYI 2021 ONE-TO-ONE 

A One-to-One is a scheduled 15-minute Zoom meeting
held at the end of the PYI day. You'll talk with a publisher, editor, agent
or art director who has evaluated your manuscript or portfolio.

You can add a One-to-One to your PYI registration for $75.

Don’t delay—One-to-One spots always sell out!

ONE-TO-ONE DETAILS

  • For an additional $75, you can have a 15-minute Zoom meeting with a publisher, editor, agent or art director who has evaluated your manuscript or excerpt (up to 1000 words) or your illustration portfolio (10 images).
  • Registration for PYI 2021 (Live-Streamed OR Recorded) is required for a One-to-One.
  • One-to-Ones  are scheduled on Sat Oct 23 from 5:15 to 8:30pm EST 
  • CANSCAIP will ask participants to send us their manuscript/excerpt or illustration portfolio. We send it to the evaluator before PYI to review before their meeting with you. 
  • The One-to-One is a verbal evaluation, not a written evaluation. 
  • CANSCAIP matches and schedules participants with the One-to-One evaluators.
